How this was measured
- All currents measured at USB 5V input on production firmware (SCOUT_DEBUG=0, serial silent).
- Active GPS current is identical with fix and without — no separate states needed.
- Timer wake (every 30 min) bench-verified both with and without GPS fix — both <1 mWh.
- Battery energy = 6000 mAh × 3.7 V nominal = 22,200 mWh. Real usable capacity slightly less due to cutoff voltage.
- Sliders always total 24 h — drag one up and the others redistribute proportionally.
- Outdoor GPS-locked active current TBD — 18-mile ride test pending. May be slightly lower than 110 mW.
